Selecting Your Region
You select your data region during signup. This choice determines:
- Where your data is stored - All prompts, evaluations, traces, and metadata
- API endpoint - Which URL you'll use for API calls
- Performance - Lower latency when closer to your team
Your region cannot be changed after account creation. Choose carefully based on your compliance and performance needs.

Agenta Cloud is designed for reliability with high availability and disaster recovery mechanisms.
What's Stored in Your Region
All of your Agenta data stays within your selected region:
- Prompts and configurations - All versions and revisions
- Evaluation data - Test sets, results, and metrics
- Observability data - Traces, spans, and logs
- User data - Account information and settings
- Secrets - Encrypted API keys and credentials
